Books to Checkout - November - 2016 - It's an Autobiographypalooza! - and a Giveaway!

Living in southern Texas, November is when we finally get to see some fall like weather. I've been watching everyone else on the Internet rock jeans, boots, and sweaters for months - and now it is my turn ( for like a week and then it'll be back to shorts, I'm sure ; ) I've collected four books that I am excited to check out this November!
All of these books are new releases- some of them in November, and some from October. It seems like November is the month of autobiographies and essays- literally all five of them are memoirs, crazy! I can't wait to check these out!

The Magnolia Story
Chip and Joanna Gaines
available on October 18, 2016

I seriously can not get enough of these two! Chip and Joanna Gaines are just so much fun to watch on their HGTV show, Fixer Upper and I can not wait to hear more about them. For those who haven't seen the show, I highly recommend it if you are interested in interior design or need some creative inspiration in general, Joanna is amazing- and Chip is hilarious. Together they flip houses in Waco, Texas - they have an insane talent for taking eye sores and turning them into beautiful homes. But more than that they seem to be all around kind and interesting people. This book explores their personal lives before the show, how their brand came to be, and behind the scenes stories about their work and home life. I've already preordered this book through Audible so that I can listen, too!

Talking as Fast as I Can
Lauren Graham
available on November 29, 2016

Most of the time, I am patient enough to wait for a book to become available at the library, but this book will have me running to the bookstore! I *love* Lauren Graham. She has been a star on my favorite TV show for the past decade- first Gilmore Girls and then Parenthood (RIP, Parenthood, you are loved and missed). I have binge watched a lot of her interviews and she is hilarious in real life, so I am sure her book is going to be amazing. I can't wait to hear behind the scenes stories about Gilmore Girls, Parenthood, and working in Hollywood. I have a feeling she is going to have a lot to say- I just hope it doesn't go by too fast! I'd definitely check out this one on audio book as well if she is narrating!

Buffering
Hannah Hart
available on October 18, 2016

The Holy Trinity of YouTube are definitely some of my favorite internet people. One of the first times I ventured out of my house after having my son, was to see Grace Helbig in Austin, Texas at Bookpeople. I love Hannah Hart as well, I'd put on pants and venture out of my house to see her, too ; ) And even though I have watched a lot of her YouTube videos, I don't feel like I know that much about her! I am definitely adding this book to my TBR. Hannah s such a well spoken and smart individual, I am sure that this book will be full of nuggets of awesome.

Scrappy Little Nobody
Anna Kendrick
available on November 15, 2016
If you are looking for a good internet binge, Anna Kendrick is where it's at in my opinion. Every interview, tweet, and instagram post is chock full of awesome and wit. When I found out that she was writing a book I definitely made an audible sound- somewhere between a squeal and a yay. Anna should have some stories for sure- she started riding a bus from Maine to NYC to audition at a young age, was nominated for a Tony at age 12, and then went on to star in amazing films with amazing co stars. I just absolutely love this "scrappy little nobody"- and I can't wait to learn more about her!

Yay for a giveaway!

I'm so excited for these books - so excited that I want to give one away to you guys!  The winner of the giveaway will have the choice of any of these four books to be shipped to them from the good folks at Amazon! Good luck!

Are you as excited for these books as I am? What books are you excited to read in November?
